01 Prerequisites

  • A working FOSSBilling installation. Starting fresh? It's free and takes minutes; see the FOSSBilling install docs.
  • A Servury account. Nothing else.

02 Activate Servury reseller access

  • Log in to your Servury account and open the Reseller Dashboard.
  • Click Become a Reseller: instant, free, 5% base discount that grows with volume.
  • Copy your API key and fund your account (balance or saved card).

03 Install the module

Then in the admin panel: Extensions > Overview, activate Servury VPS.

04 Build your catalog (one command)

With the module active, build the whole shop from the live Servury plan list. Run from your FOSSBilling root:

  • A product category per location and a product per plan with real specs, wired to the Servury module.
  • Monthly and yearly pricing at your reseller cost plus the markup you choose (default 20).
  • Out-of-stock plans imported hidden; re-run any time to refresh prices and stock. Your own products are never touched.

Prefer clicking? Create a product with the Servury type, open its Configuration tab, enter the Servury URL https://servury.com and your API key, save, then reopen to pick a plan from the live dropdown. Either way, periods map to server time automatically (monthly = 31 days to avoid the sub-31-day surcharge, quarterly = 93, annually = 365), and the order form asks customers for a hostname and OS.

05 Go live

  • Connect your customer payment gateway in FOSSBilling as usual and place a test order.
  • On activation the server provisions; the customer's service page shows live status, IP, password reveal, start/stop/restart, password reset, network fix, OS reinstall and an Open console button.
  • Check your Servury reseller dashboard for the wholesale charge.

06 Show specs in the product list (optional)

Out of the box, FOSSBilling's product-selection step lists only plan names; the full specs (which the importer stores in each product's description) appear once the customer opens a plan. If you'd rather show the specs inline in that first list too, it's a one-line edit to the order-button template. This is a theme/core template, not part of the module, so re-apply it after major FOSSBilling upgrades.

In modules/Orderbutton/templates/client/mod_orderbutton_choose_product.html.twig, replace the product link with this, which shows the specs inline and the monthly price on the right:

Clear the template cache afterward (rm -rf data/cache/*). Each plan then shows its CPU / RAM / storage / network inline under the name and the monthly price on the right. The full labelled spec list still appears on the configuration step, untouched.

07 How it operates day to day

  • Renewals: FOSSBilling calls the module natively on every order renewal; the upstream server extends by the billing period automatically.
  • Non-payment: suspension powers the server off, unsuspension powers it on; deleting the order terminates the server permanently.
  • Billing note: keep your Servury balance funded (or a card saved); every create and renewal charges it at your reseller discount.
