Re-checked September 2026 against their public pages. BitLaunch has sold cloud servers for cryptocurrency since 2017 and reports over 100,000 customers. Its model is to put a crypto front end on DigitalOcean, Vultr and Linode, plus some servers of its own, billed hourly across 27 locations. It is convenient, and it leaves the upstream provider with full access to the machine.

BitLaunch is a crypto payment layer in front of three mainstream clouds. That solves one problem, paying DigitalOcean without a card and an identity, and leaves another untouched: your server is a DigitalOcean server, subject to DigitalOcean's hypervisor access, abuse team and legal process. Anonymity at the checkout does not change who owns the machine.
BitLaunch bills by the hour, which is the right unit for a build farm or an afternoon of testing. We bill any term from 7 to 365 days. For jobs under a week, BitLaunch is the better fit and we say so. For anything longer, or anything that should not be linked to a person, a term on our own hardware is cheaper and holds less about you.
On every BitLaunch server the operator, whether BitLaunch or the upstream cloud, can read memory and disk. On our Blackbox line the host cannot: encrypted memory under AMD SEV-SNP, no guest agent, disk encrypted inside your VM.
Hourly billing, 27 regions, Windows and one-click VPN images, and eight years of operation. If you need a DigitalOcean droplet in Sydney for six hours and want to pay in Bitcoin, that is what it is for.

The honest test for any crypto cloud is a single question: when the server is running, whose datacenter is it in, and can that company read it? For most BitLaunch servers the answer is DigitalOcean, Vultr or Linode, and yes. For a Blackbox machine the answer is ours, and no.
