OrangeWebsite's cheapest VPS starts at €22.40 a month as of September 2026; the exact configuration behind that headline is on their pricing page. Servury's entry VPS starts from $9.99 a month with 4 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, and unmetered bandwidth. For pure VPS value, Servury offers substantially more resource per dollar, and doesn't cap your traffic.
OrangeWebsite's strongest selling point is its explicit free speech content policy. They host content as long as it's legal under Icelandic law, and they won't take down content simply because a foreign government or rights-holder sends a threatening email. This is a meaningful distinction for certain use cases. Servury operates under Canadian law, which means DMCA does not automatically apply, though similar takedown obligations exist.
Servury requires nothing. No email, no name, just a generated token. OrangeWebsite requires an email address. Both accept cryptocurrency, so payment privacy is achievable with either provider. Servury goes further at the account identity level.
What OrangeWebsite says where customers look, next to what the same company says in its own terms, privacy policy or page source. Quoted verbatim, source under each pair, checked 5 September 2026. Every provider, same test.
“Upon signing up with us, you will only be asked to provide your email address. We don't store your name, billing address or credit card information anywhere in our databases.”
Their own policy says“Personal Information you give us depends on the type of service, support, or sale inquiry, and may include your name, address, telephone number, fax number and email address, dates of service provided, types of service provided, payment history, manner of payment, amount of payments, date of payments, domain name.”
“We accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for anonymous payments.”
Their own policy says“We provide payment providers for cryptocurrency which are BitPay and Coinpayment. These providers reserve the right to request KYC (Know your customer). [...] We will setup your account after we have received payment and we have screened the order(s) in case of fraud.”
OrangeWebsite allows sign-up with minimal info and accepts crypto, so some level of anonymity is possible. However, they require an email address and their VPS pricing is significantly higher for the specs. For anonymous VPS hosting, Servury's zero-email model and stronger anonymous account creation are more aligned with that goal.
OrangeWebsite's VPS pricing reflects the cost of operating in Iceland (higher infrastructure costs) and the premium for their free speech content policies. Their shared hosting is much more competitively priced, so the VPS tier is better suited to users who specifically need the Iceland jurisdiction rather than raw value.
Servury operates under Canadian law. Content that violates Canadian law is not permitted. OrangeWebsite's explicit free speech policy under Icelandic law provides more protection for legal-but-controversial content. If content freedom under non-US jurisdiction is your need, OrangeWebsite or 1984 Hosting are better suited.
